WOVEN IN SILVER: Celebrating 25 Years of Developmental Pediatrics
The Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) proudly invites you to its 13th Biennial Convention on September 3-4, 2025, at The Space at One Ayala in Makati with the theme: “Woven in Silver: Trailblazing 25 Years of Developmental Pediatrics”. This year marks a historic celebration of PSDBP’s 25 years of unwavering service and advocacy for children with special needs and their families.
This two-day, face-to-face convention brings together developmental pediatricians, allied health professionals, educators, psychologists, caregivers, and advocates to reflect on our shared journey—Then, Now, and Beyond. With lectures, fireside chats, panel discussions, and research showcases, this convention aims to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, promote inclusive practices, and advance child development policy and innovation in the Philippines.
PROGRAM AT A GLANCE
DAY 1: SEPTEMBER 3, 2025
Theme: Reflecting on the Past & Navigating the Present
The first day opens with a ceremony and keynote session highlighting the 25-year journey of developmental pediatrics in the Philippines. This is followed by a fireside chat exploring the evolving roles of developmental pediatricians beyond the clinic, and lightning talks showcasing pioneering research in the field. In the afternoon, sessions focus on early childhood development programs, integrated care approaches to neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, and best practices for inclusive education through a dynamic panel discussion.
DAY 2: SEPTEMBER 4, 2025
Theme: Envisioning the Future
The second day begins with sessions on future directions for child wellness in an increasingly complex world, exploring topics such as digitalization, climate change, and nutrition. This is followed by a discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in neurodevelopmental care, and a panel on life transitions for individuals with developmental conditions. The afternoon features lectures on social skills development, neurodiversity and creative expression, and a PechaKucha session on innovation in therapeutic practices. The day concludes with a panel discussion on transitioning from pediatric to adult care and an awarding ceremony to close the celebration.
This year’s Biennial Convention is more than a gathering, it’s a celebration of 25 years of impact, growth, and innovation in the field of developmental pediatrics in the Philippines. REGISTRATION
Take advantage of our Early Bird Registration from June 1 to July 31, 2025.
Discounted rates are available for government employees, residents-in-training, PWDs, senior citizens, authors of accepted research, and non-PSDBP fellows-in-training at ₱5,500, while the regular early bird rate is ₱6,000. Foreign delegates may register for $150.
CPD units have been applied for in the fields of Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Education (Licensed Teachers), and Psychology.
Regular rates will take effect from August 1 to August 15, 2025, or until slots are filled. Registration will automatically close once the maximum number of delegates has been reached, so secure your slot early!
