The Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) invites you to a milestone celebration! Join us as we celebrate 25 years of dedication, innovation, and excellence in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
Our society’s Silver Anniversary Biennial Convention entitled “WOVEN IN SILVER: Trailblazing 25 Years in Developmental Pediatrics” will be held on September 3 to 4, 2025 at the SPACE at One Ayala, Makati.
We have an array of exciting events planned for our Biennial Convention, which includes the Dr. Perla D. Santos Ocampo Young Investigator Award for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. This is in honor of our founding President, Dr. Perla D. Santos Ocampo. She contributed much to the advancement of the field of Developmental Pediatrics in the Philippines and authored and co-authored numerous researches published both locally and internationally and so it is just fitting to honor her with this research award.
This year, the research award will be open to clinical studies on the following topics:
- Child development (general)
- Identification and/or diagnosis of developmental disorders
- Education and transition needs/ issues of individuals with special needs
- Intervention of children with special needs, including innovative technology
- Mental, behavioral and emotional health
