THE MEDICAL CITY DEVELOPMENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL PEDIATRICS FELLOWSHIP TRAINING

Developmental And Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Training
The three-year post-residency fellowship training program in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) is an interdisciplinary program offered by the Institute of Pediatrics of The Medical City (TMC) to provide in-depth training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. After having established the Center for Developmental Pediatrics in October 2009, the DBP fellowship training program was started in 2013 with the encouragement and support of then Chair, Dr. Romeo Santos, who inspired Dr. Stella Manalo, Dr. Ma. Theresa Arranz-Lim, Dr. Jacqueline Navarro, and Dr. Lourdes Tanchanco to initiate the program. Dr. Stella Manalo was appointed as the head of the section, and Dr. Lourdes Bernadette Tanchanco assumed the role of the first training officer. Their leadership and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the success of the program into what it has become today. To date, the program has produced several graduates who are board certified by the Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (PSDBP) serving families in Metro Manila, Pampanga, Bicol, Lanao del Norte, Davao, Tarlac, Quezon province, Bulacan, Laguna, Nueva Ecija and Bacolod.
